Privacy Policy Mythril Discord Application

Mythril Platforms, Inc. (“Mythril,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect when you use our Discord application (“Bot”), how that information is handled, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

We collect the data needed to run slash commands and to show creators what is happening in the channels they connected:

  • Discord Identifiers: Discord User ID, Username, Guild (Server) ID, and Channel ID when an interaction is triggered.

  • Interaction Data: Command parameters and inputs explicitly entered when executing slash commands (e.g., /ask, /story, /link).

  • Account Linking Data: If you link your Discord account to your Mythril account via /link, we associate your Discord User ID with your registered Mythril account identifier.

  • Context & Session Cache: Recent delivered Q&A pairs for active /ask sessions to provide coherent context within authorized channels.

  • Connected-channel messages: In channels a creator has connected, the Bot requests Discord’s Message Content intent and receives message text. We use that text to detect @mentions of story authors and to produce author analytics for that creator (for example, who was mentioned and how often). We do not use it in servers or channels the creator has not connected.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

  • No unconnected servers: The Bot does not read message content in Discord servers, or in channels, that a creator has not connected to a story world.

  • No advertising use: We do not sell user data or share message content with third-party advertisers.

  • No model training: We do not use your story inputs, slash-command text, or connected-channel messages to train public or foundational machine learning models.

3. How We Use Data

  • To execute requested slash commands and return responses.

  • To link your Discord account with your Mythril workspace and verify creator permissions.

  • To maintain temporary conversational context for story exploration.

  • To tell a creator when people @mention a story author in a connected channel, and to summarize that author activity for the creator.

  • No Training on Your Data: We do not sell user data, share data with third-party advertisers, or use your story inputs or queries to train machine learning models.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

  • AI Processing: Inputs for story queries and bot interactions are processed via enterprise AI endpoints (including, but not limited to, Google Cloud Vertex AI / Gemini and other third-party model providers) governed by commercial agreements with strict zero-data-retention and zero-training commitments.

  • Hosting & Infrastructure: Data is securely transmitted and hosted on cloud infrastructure adhering to industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Temporary command interactions and context windows expire automatically.

  • Author-mention records and creator insight summaries from connected channels remain while that world stays connected, and are removed when the creator disconnects the world or asks us to delete them.

  • Account-linking tokens and stored associations remain until unlinked or deleted.

  • Right to Deletion: You can request deletion of your stored Discord data and associations at any time by emailing support@mythril.io with your Discord User ID. Requests are processed within 14 days.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Bot is not directed to individuals under 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required to use Discord). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve. Any material changes will be reflected in the updated date above.
